Biography

With a background in artisan bakery (Baker and Spice), Deli (Fine Cheese Co), Organic meat (Pure Suffolk Foods) Organic Certification (Soil Association Certification Ltd), Farm Shop Management (Daylesford) and with a fundamental, possibly obsessive desire to grow things It was really only natural that I would find a way to combine all these passions eventually, Opportunity presented itself in an unused corner of the farm and in 2003 Bosley Patch was born.

We’ve come a long way in 17 years from taking over that empty field at Swiss Farm, my family home of 4 generations. Today our beautiful, productive garden bears little relation to the grassy expanse we began with. Slowly it has grown, adding necessary infrastructure and expanding the growing spaces as demand increased, We have experienced highs and lows, floods. gales, droughts and a pandemic. Today, carried by our community, the friends, clients, volunteers and industry partners who have supported, inspired advised, supplied produce, wheelbarrowed weeded and dug, we have continue to thrive, adapting when called upon to provide local, seasonal produce to our customers and spread the word about the importance of locally grown and organic food and production methods ,
