What we grow

Springtime gifts us the first harvests of leafy greens, tender leeks and rude pink rhubarb whilst early summer brings luscious sweet baby carrots, Italian aggretti and tart lemony purslane. The dog days of summer give us vines laden with heritage tomatoes, mountains of courgettes and runner beans  Early autumn sees a slowing of pace, its pumpkins and squash sweetening in the low sun, Chillis to dry, borlotti beans and maincrop spuds to harvest for winter roasts, robust ferrous kales and sweet red cabbage for krauchi. We grow a bit of everything, believing that the strength in any system lies in diversity.
